The purposes of this page

EU Regulation 2016/679 provides that, if some personal data are collected and/or used, people have to be clearly informed about. This is precisely the purpose of this page.
Our clients’ data and privacy protection is, for Great Estate, fundamental. We are aware of the trust you put in our Group when giving us your data for the research of your dream home or for the selling of your beautiful property.

Recipients of the service

The use of this website is intended for adults; minors of under 18 years cannot register themselves neither to the portal or its related services.

Personal data processing legal basis

According to some of the legal basis provided for in EU Regulation 2016/679, we will process your personal data legitimately:

  1. with your consent, when, for example, you subscribe to our newsletter, or accept the third parties cookies use, etc.

  2. for legal duties, when, for instance, we have to comply with the law, or requested for by the competent authorities, etc.

  3. to comply with contractual or pre-contractual duties as, for example, when we will respond to your requests, or send you a property estimate, etc.

  4. for legitimate interest when, for instance, we use some tools to make the portal working good or aimed to guarantee the security and prevent illegal activities, etc.

Personal data processing purposes

Your personal data will be processed with the following purposes:

  2. when you register yourself to the portal, in order to offer you personalized services, receive more information about a specific property or specific property typologies;

  3. putting and promoting your property on the market through the portal and, more in general, carry our real estate intermediation services out;

Contractual or pre-contractual duties fulfilment
  1. sending you newsletters, information, commercial proposals, promotion and special offers inherent to our properties list and services;

  2. doing some market investigations about our users’ and/or clients’ satisfaction;

  3. proposing our post-sale services;

  4. personalizing contents and listings, collecting and analysing the different behaviours during the surfing in order to improve the website usability, contents and user’s experience.

Your consent
  1. fulfilling the obligations provided for in a law, regulation, community law or in a Competent Authority’s order (as, for example, with regard to the anti-money laundering);

Legal duties
  1. exercising the Managing Director’s rights as, for instance, the right of defence in court proceedings;

  2. make the informative systems working, analysing the traffic, put the security measures needed in place and prevent illegal activities.

Data provision

Your personal data providing, for the purposes identified in at the above mentioned 1-3 points, is necessary; without them, we will not be able to do the hereinabove specified activities. Your consent, for the purposes identified in at the above mentioned 4-7 points, is optional; without it, we will not be able to do the related activities, while the website usability may be partial or impossible. We inform you that your consent can be modified or revoked later, in a simply and immediate way, by requiring so to privacy@greatestate.it.

Personal data processing modalities and security measures

We lawfully and correctly process your personal data by adopting some appropriate security measures aimed to prevent unauthorized accesses, divulgation, modification or non-authorized data destruction. The personal data processing is prevalently made through IT and/or telematic tools, by adopting adequate organizational modalities and following some logics which are strictly connected to the hereinbefore given purposes.

Personal data access

Your personal data may be made available to:

  • Our employed or partners, authorized for the purpose.

  • External subjects who, upon designation as personal data processing supervisor, do the processing activities needed to achieve the above mentioned purposes externalized.

  • The law enforcement, if requested.

Your personal data may be transmitted to other partners companies of our Group for the purposes identified into the present notice only, and they will not be subjected to diffusion or given to third parties.

Personal data processing location

Your personal data will be processed, by the Managing Director or by the processing officers, within the European Union. If, for any technical and/or operative reason, it is necessary to use some subjects located outside the European Union, the right cautions will be adopted in order to obtain the same EU Regulation 2016/679 protection level. Currently, only the processing connected to the third-parties-cookies-using tools are delegated out of the Community area (cookie policy).

Personal data retention

Your personal data will be kept for the minimal period needed to pursue the purposes for which they were collected, except in case of a further retention period imposed (or which may be imposed) by law. In connection with the optional data collected, they will be kept for no longer than the period needed to reach the related purposes, or until the consent suspension.

Your rights

The Regulation gives you the rights referred to in art.ls 15 and subsequent, in particular:

  • the confirmation of the existence or of the non-existence of a personal data processing towards you and the right to obtain the access to the data or to the following information (personal data processing purposes, personal data categories, recipients and/or recipients categories to which data have been and/or will be communicated, data retention);

  • your personal data correction and/or the integration of the incomplete ones by providing an integrative declaration;

  • the removing of your personal data if the conditions are met;

  • the processing limitation, according to the possible hypothesis;

  • the portability of your personal data, if the requirements are met;

  • due to reasons connected to your specific situation, the opposition to your personal data processing for marketing and profiling purposes at any time.

Your rights exercise may be done, in a very simple way, through a via e-mail communication to privacy@greatestate.it.
In any case, pursuant to art. 77 of the Regulation, you have the right to lodge a complaint to the national supervisory authority if considering your personal data processing in contravention of the regulation in force.
